We now have two official Community Moderators: Goopy and XPISigma!  Both have proven themselves to be worthy of the title, and the responsibilities that come with it.  They're helpful, active, good fair players, and all-around good guys.  They'll be helping out around the community and participating in our Fight Nights.  They've also set up some cool contests in the past.  XPISigma has a cool Celestial Body contest going on now in the Artwork forum.

In short, XPISigma and Goopy are both mods.  Look for them in the forums!

There has been a lot of speculation about future Tony Hawk games around the Internet.  We'd love to hear your thoughts on the Tony Hawk franchise and what you want to see from it in the future.  Come discuss it in our General Discussion forum.  Here is some food for thought:

Here is a new take on our Mosaic Challenges for you to try out!  It's pretty simple.  Below is a very basic picture.  Your job is to use it as a guide to draw something totally in your own style.  Pick a square and draw that portion of the overall image, but add to it.  Give this guy some character!  Give him some hair, some color, an expression, a background, or a different shaped head... go nuts!

Congratulations everyone!  We've finally done it!  The second and final Community Unlockable has been unlocked!  Late last night we broke the goal of playing 48,000 WiFi matches.  48,000!  That's incredible!

We've recently made another improvement to the site!  In short, certain parts of the site will be running a little faster.  You may not notice the changes right away, but caching has been improved so once you re-visit sections the time to load will decrease.  Enjoy the speedier site!

Happy Holidays everyone!

I hope you are all enjoying the holiday season.  If you have some time off of school and feel like hanging out in the forums you should check out some of our festive events.  We have Art Contests, a Secret Santa, and tons of holiday tournaments!

If you don't have THPG you may want to ask for it for the holidays so you can join in the fun! 

Hey Everyone.

You may have noticed that there are some duplicate pictures floating around the site.  We're going to fix this by running an update to remove all these pictures.  This update will cause all art that isn't either in someone's collection or slots to be deleted.

Essentially you just need to make sure that any art you made that you want to stick around on the site is saved to your collection.

We'll be running this update around Monday, December 10th.

Expect to see some cleaner art pages!

As some of you may have noticed AgoraSanta has started visiting the forums again!  He's logging in from the North Pole to help spread some holiday cheer!

One way to help spread the joy is with the Secret Santa event!  It works just like any Secret Santa, but all the presents are now drawn on your THPG logo editor!  It should be a lot of fun so check it out here!

The Community Goals are up and running!  The first one which is active now is for us to upload 10,000 pieces of art!  It seems like a lot, but we are already half way there!  You can check out our progress by going to the main page.

Let's keep making art so we can get that new in-game content!

I decided to make a place where all of our mosaics, animated art, and other unique pictures can be displayed together.  It's called the Art Gallery!  What do you think?  Let us know by posting in the What do you think about the Art Gallery thread!

If you check the Tournaments page you'll notice that there are a ton of new tournaments up.  Not only that, but there are all also a ton of new Downhill Jam Tournaments too!  Go check them out and start signing up!

You may have noticed that some of these tournaments are based off of some of the winter holidays.  If you feel that a holiday you celebrate is not represented and you would like a tournament made for it then make sure to send me (AgoraPerry) a PM, or post your idea in the Tournament Ideas thread.

Thanks to everyone who gave us feedback and suggestions about this site!  We've taken your concerns to heart and as you may have noticed we've updated the site to include a bunch of improved features!   Some of these new features are:

-Revamped Personal Menu

-Improved Art Rating System (you no longer have to wait for the page to reload!)

-Improved Site Layout

-Private Message Counts are fixed

-Link Legacy Account issues fixed

-Layout bugs in Internet Explorer fixed

Not only are all of these issues fixed, but we are still working on and implementing more fixes and features!  Keep checking back to the site and giving us your feedback! 

Tony Hawk's Proving Ground shipped on the 15th over here in the U.S. and it is now available for purchase!  I went out on the 16th and got 6 copies (one for me and a bunch for my friends over here at Agora Games)!  Your local stores should have copies in stock so go pick yours up today!  If you get it by Friday you can join us for our Friday Night Fight where we'll play with you from 5:00PM to 7:00PM Eastern Time.

The game's been out long enough to get a couple reviews.  IGN said "Tony Hawk's Proving Ground continues the legacy of solid skateboarding, and this sequel is a really, really good game." and "Link your cartridge to the game's website and you can show off your progress and rank in the extensive leaderboards, as well as swap wall, board and clothing textures between other players. The Tony Hawk series remains one of the Nintendo DS system's most elaborate online experiences, and Proving Ground keeps this up with tons of new features."  Overall they gave the game an 8/10 and the reader review average is a whopping 9.6/10!  Check out the full review here.

Check out this footage from THPG! We have a capture unit, so I was able to get direct feed straight from the DS. It's a great tool. We can even download your replays and then show them off through the Community Site using it! Did you notice that Replay TV on the main page? Now you know what it is for!
