What is the hold up?

This site has been incredibly slow for some time now and it lost a lot of members because of it. I never been on because I just don't have the patience to deal with it. I settled in Gamebattles.com for most of the time, but now I'm sick of people complaining over there, so now I'm homeless again. :p

 Anyway, point being, I've heard ages ago that the managers of the site are working to fix the bugs and hopefully improve the speed. I was hoping it would be soon since it was running good for a while. Now it still takes me 5 minutes to log in and reach the forums. I can't even go to my profile page and change back to my old avatar (still had Toad since that avatar swap thingy). It always just said the proving ground keeps on bailing.Stop bailing fool. Is anything being done? Does anyone care for the sake of this site? I'd like to come back here since there's absolutely nothing to do on the net anymore. The speed is a huge factor. Please do something about it, or bring the other site back.

(off topic, but is there any details on the new THDS? Online, community, release date? ect.)

XPISigma once mentioned that an artwork purge of works not in anyones collection might help speed things up.  Does anyone know if that was ever done?

I agree with Trav. The site slowness and errors has caused members to leave and the community to die. It also prevents me from doing my own artwork but thats mostly just becuase I dont really feel like doing that anymore.

There has not been any news on the next THDS game... I wish there was becuase I really like this place and having a new community might bring more people back and this community will be like it was before.
