Earthquake los angeles 7-29-08

there was an earthquake today! i was on the 3rd floor of my school, and it just started shaking, and i thought someone was shaking the table or something. like 5 sec later we finally figured out it was an earthquake, and went under the tables. it lasted like 15 sec I think. after it was over others and myself as well went outside to call our parents and stuff, but no one could get the call through. everyone was okay though, i don't think anything got damaged either. The last time i felt an earthquake was like 3 years ago, and it was also in school. it was june of 2005 I believe. The epicenter was in Chino hills which is like 20 miles south of here i believe, and it measured 5.4 on the ritcher scale. It was kinda scary, but not too much because it didn't shake a lot. some people outside the buildings(it was lunch time) didn't even feel it! If i was on vacation I would be at home playing my wii.

When I was in Cali, I heard about earthquakes near my area!

It was kinda scary because i was thinking what if there's an aftershock that is stronger later.  But the earthquake didn't feel too strong here in L.A. I hear it felt totally strong near the epicenter in Chino hills. some people though it was fun actually everything shaking and stuff.lol. good thing it only shook a little.

ha ha lol :) an icestorm sounds  scary!  do people get injured with them? does it look cool? well, i've never been in snow before so, idk.
