I've been skating for a while now, I just learned how to 360 flip. Anyone else skate in real life?

Skating is pretty fun to do when its nice outside (like right now! ugh I want my board!).
I used to skate. I was skateboarding from 5 years old to 14 than I messed up my ankle and knee really bad. Now I can still skate but not as good (I was one of the best of my neighborhood). I might go back to it someday. I'll just have to get over this limp I have when I walk. Haha I got scars on my body that remind me of great times and make me want to skate again. I got a large one where I got rocks stuck in my elbow and had to scrub them out with a toothbrush while it was still open and bleeding(haha there are still rocks in my elbow). Alot on my legs and arms. Even two on my face from when I faceplanted onto a sidewalk.
Holy ****...so how long have you been having this limp?
I used to skateboard too...that was short lived. Maryland has ****ty boards that break, a few months ago at PA I found this awesome skateshop at a mall but I didn't bring any friggen money!

Haha we are actually on at the same time. That's rare.
I've had it for like a year...it may be permanent.
I used to skate a lot more a few years ago, but I got so frustrated that I started skating only a few times a week.

I used to skate. I started when I was about 8 years old. Due to my situation at the time, I only got to go skating on rare occasions, so I never really got much practice. Then, when I moved to Florida, I eventually had more of an opportunity to skate, and I was skating for a while, but I didn't really build up that endurance of pain that comes from constantly skating from an early age. That, combined with dislike for the intense heat, made me decide to quit skating.
Theres so many people with skateboards here at my college. It makes me want to skate more!

I vacationed there, but is Death Metal actually mainstream there? Or...does it still maintain Underground status while flourishing.(mainly in Tampa)

Not in my area, so much. Perhaps in other areas, though I'm not so familiar with the overall music scene in Florida. All I know about Florida music is the general production style of hip-hop producers from here.

I tried to tre flip over an 8 stair and didn't land right.
Wow, I've never even ollied an 8 set, I think I might be able to but I have only seen a 5 set to skate. I can kickflip a 4 set though.

i am a minni skateboarder
has any seen one of those minni skateboards, well if you have were i come there is a big skate park were i like to show off my BMX and minni skateboard skills, i have been skating for around 8 years now and i have about 52 tricks i can pull, i also like to make up tricks like `one handed sacktap` lol
btw a tip help how to back flip on a minni skateboard . the best way to learn this is to pratice backflippig on a trampleen , one you have mastered that get your board and put it on the trampleen , bounce up and down on it and try the flip (it takes quite a long time to get this right) rember to grab your board and then flip then land on your board , if you fall it wont hert (well it will if you land on your board or your neck which i have done loads of times) i hope this helps rember height is the key to sucess .
